Mark Randolph recently built a website that promoted my Design Seminar Business. I could not be more pleased with the process and the results he achieved. He is very talented and creative. From an initial short brainstorming session, he was able to grasp how the site should be built, organized, and how to tailor for my clients.
Mark understands the big picture but is exceedingly attentive to small details as well. His ability to translate complicated technical terms and nuances of “computer technology” was extremely helpful and made the project less daunting. Three years ago our non-profit educational and environmental group had been searching for a company to build our blog page that features photography and commentary. I am pleased to be able to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Mark Randolph. Since February 2010, Mr. Randolph has been a volunteer with The Museum of Flight and has worked with my program, Washington Aerospace Scholars (WAS) on several different occasions during that time.
In spring 2010, the WAS program needed to create a publicly accessible website in which student research projects could be displayed in an easily accessible format. Mr. Randolph was tasked with displaying over 150 student essays and graphics into a readily accessible format, which he did while enhancing the overall user experience with added video and audio. He also developed the mechanism in which the website would be hosted remotely. In spring 2011 he recreated the website for a new group of students and again created an excellent format for the user interface.
Throughout my time working with Mark, I have found him to be extremely professional and quick to respond to any issues that have arisen or questions that I have. He has been able to take my basic needs and ideas and fully develop them into useable interface for my program. He has demonstrated a high standard of excellence in his work and a willingness to explore effective solutions to any problems that arise.

It was my privilege to work closely with Mark Randolph at ASA from the time of his hiring in December of 1999 until he was laid off in a staff reduction in April of 2009.
Mark was hired as a technical support person for our company’s PC-based software products. His primary duties included answering telephone calls from customers who needed help with our flight simulation, flight logbook and FAA test preparation software products. Mark’s considerable aviation expertise and his experience with website authoring were huge advantages for our company and Mark quickly became our webmaster and was able to answer customers questions about our entire product line. He was able to work an afternoon and evening schedule to cover the telephones and to have access to the website after hours for maintenance and backups.
Mark’s work was good and he was given regular raises. At some point we began in-house duplication of floppy disks and later CDROMs. Mark took on these tasks and made good strides in improving the quality, uniformity, professional image and user-friendliness of our products. We used a Rimage Duplicator with laserjet disk printing. Mark purchased and learned to use InstallShield for mastering our products. On several occasions Mark worked late into the night to put our company ahead of our competition on software release dates, particularly on annual FAA exam updates. He had a reputation in our company as a person who would doggedly stick to an issue until it was resolved. At the same time Mark participated in a complete reorganization and refacing of our Website (several times) as we adopted, maintained and updated an Able Commerce website solution. This required him to work closely with our website programmer who was working offsite in Toledo, Ohio. This collaboration was very productive.
I know that Mark has continued to maintain and upgrade his skills. I feel certain that any company would be lucky to have him in any position for which he is qualified. If there are any questions please don’t hesitate to call me.
